Wilderness and Climbing Guide
As a native “Michigangster,” I grew up not having much access to rock climbing and didn’t know much about it. I studied at the University of Toledo where I got my Masters in Recreation Administration. I had a professor that encouraged me at the end of my program to move to Alaska and dive into outdoor recreation. Alaska was my first real taste of mountain life and rock climbing, from there I never looked back. I have been involved in the outdoor recreation and rock climbing world since 2015, working at universities and various park and recreation districts. When I am not working you can probably find me trying to bag another 14er, bro-ing out at Crossfit, or wheelin’ in my wrangler with my wife and dog. I am a certified NOLS Wilderness First Responder and AMGA Single Pitch Climbing Instructor.
